At the start of the third semester, these students have to sit for a French test. In case of failure, they can retest at the start of their fourth semester. Late applications will be considered per available space in each programme. Please ensure that the Institute offers a programme that meets your aspirations, especially by examining the contents of the programme.

  • If you’ll continue your study at the University of Lucerne at Master’s level in the same subject, you won’t have to register for the Master Study once more.
  • If you live or work in Switzerland, you can find this on your AHV card or on your CH health insurance card.
  • We encourage families to visit the School or meet with a TASIS representative during one of ouroff-campus visits.
  • Admission decisions are based on the quality of the overall application file.
  • If you have already paid the semester fees for the first semester and would like to be reimbursed , please return your UZH Card and the four proof-of-matriculation vouchers by 15 March or 15 October and provide us with your bank details.

If you don’t have one, feel free to take one with your smartphone. Photos should be only of your child and against a neutral background . Activities involving the verification of admission requirements, the organisation of admission or competitive examinations, and admission “on dossier” are conducted by the Departments, under the supervision of the SUPSI Executive. Due to organisational reasons, the Department of Formation and Learning will be unable to accept applications arriving after the deadline specified above.

If you are expecting an email from us during the application process but do not receive one, please first check your spam folder. If you do not find anything there, please contact the academic office responsible for the degree programme you have applied for. Once your payment has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your application for the degree programme you have chosen.

Students applying for Mobility within Switzerland do not have to pay any application fee. Applicants for a specialized Master’s programor for a PhD program are required to pre-register with the respective institute or graduate school before applying through the UZH application portal. For information about the pre-registration and pre-registration deadlines please refer to the websites of the institutes and graduate schools. You will be requested to pay a first amount of CHF 3’000 net of bank charges within the deadlines set in the admission letter and the tuition fees invoice. All complete applications will be assessed by the MEIG Executive Committee. The Executive Committee of the programme may at any time require applicants to provide further information, in addition to the documents submitted as part of the application.

Hand In Any Rejected Or Missing Documents At A Later Date

If you don’t receive an e-mail, please check your spam folder. Applications can only be submitted online via the UZH application portal. Your complete application will be assessed by a committee of professors who will evaluate, in particular, your academic performance, letters of recommendation and motivation letter. The application for the joint master’s degree program Computational Biology and Bioinformatics must be done via ETH Zurich. The International Baccalaureate Supplementary Application must be completed by candidates applying to 11th grade who wish to pursue the IB Diploma. For administrative reasons, applications to SUPSI must be made by 15 April 2022, while applications to the Cantonal Authorities for foreigners, together with the required documents, must be received by the SUPSI Executive by 30 June 2022.

Candidates are notified promptly of the Committee’s decision. Upon confirmation of acceptance, students will be sent more specific information regarding enrollment. Please upload a passport-style photograph or past school portrait of your child.
