All applicants will be informed in writing on the outcome of their admission request. Final matricultation completes the admission procedure for admitted candidates. If you live or work in Switzerland, you can find this on your AHV card or on your CH health insurance card. If you have not received a social security number yet, you can still proceed with your application. Once your payment has been registered, you can download via the Uniportal your confirmation of matriculation and revalidate your Campus Card. If you would like to leave the University of Lucerne, please exmatriculate yourself via UniPortal.

Middle And High School Grades 6 Through Postgraduate
You will be sent a confirmation by e-mail once UZH has received your application. You can check the information you have entered in the application portal and print out a summary if required. Accepted means of payment are PostFinance Card or credit card . Use the application portal to apply online for a place at the ZHAW School of Engineering.

Once your payment has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your application for the degree programme you have chosen.
Enter the information requested, upload a passport photo and the required documents. To create a Switch edu-ID, you will be required to give your full name and email address. After creating a Switch edu-ID, you will be able to use the online application option.
Admission To A Bachelor’s Degree Program
Candidates are notified promptly of the Committee’s decision. Upon confirmation of acceptance, students will be sent more specific information regarding enrollment. Please upload a passport-style photograph or past school portrait of your child.
Only applications submitted by the deadline will be processed. The Institute values diversity and encourages students with no prior knowledge or only a basic knowledge of French to apply. We are happy to grant these students a place, if they take it upon themselves to attend a free French course.
