To submit your trade mark application online, use the online application system IR-Online , which will take you through the process step by step, including giving you explanations on how to fill in the various sections. Once the review of your application is complete, UZH will send you a letter of admission or rejection. Please also take note of any appendix to the letter of admission regarding conditions and/or additional requirements. You can view the processing status of your application at any time in the application portal.

Late applications will be considered only in the case of available places. Registrations for the autumn semester are possible from the beginning of February until the end of April. For the spring semester of the next year from the beginning of August until the end of October. For late registration, a late entry fee of CHF 150.- will be charged.

  • You can check the information you have entered in the application portal and print out a summary if required.
  • Matriculation is completed provisionally until the applicant presents a copy of the residence certificate obtained, and becomes final only once this document has been received by SUPSI.
  • No application may be submitted after the application deadline.
  • For the spring semester of the next year from the beginning of August until the end of October.
  • Please submit a new application if you wish to apply for a later semester.
  • Once the review of your application is complete, UZH will send you a letter of admission or rejection.

Please read the following instructions carefully before entering the application portal. You can only take advantage of university services if you are registered; in other words attend lectures and take part in performance checks. You can pay your application fee by Visa, Mastercard, or PostFinance Card. If you do not have one of these cards, you can get a prepaid card from various outlets .

Foreigners who are required to obtain a visa must make a visa application to the Swiss Consular representation abroad that has jurisdiction for their place of domicile. The visa application form is issued free of charge by this representation office abroad. It must be accompanied by the travel document, and, if requested, by further documentation testifying the reason for the journey. SUPSI reserves the right to cancel programmes or courses should the number of applications be insufficient.

After validating your application form, we invite you to join our Facebook group, created specially for our applicants. Our team will use this group to provide support and answer your questions, in addition to e-mail, phone and campus visits. Moreover, this group allows you to exchange with other applicants during the application process. If you meet all the admission requirements, your semester registration confirmation will be made available to you online. Your enrolment confirmation will be given to you in person or sent by post.

After you have sent your application, wait for five or ten minutes before checking. You may need to log out and then log in again, so that your data can be updated. If the payment for the application fee did not go through, please try again. Your application will only be processed once your payment has gone through.

Find out about the UZH degree programs offered and the admission requirements. Please choose your degree program and study programs before you start to fill out the online application form. You will receive an email asking you to do this by your programme’s administrative office. Once payment has been completed, your application will be processed by the administrative office responsible for your degree programme. If any details/documents are missing or if any documents are rejected (illegible, etc.), you will receive another email.

The application fee must be paid for each application to a degree course, and, in principle, amounts to CHF 100.-, except for applications to the affiliate schools, the regulations for which specify other amounts. The application fee is non-reimbursable and may not be detracted from the semester fees charged to students who have been admitted to SUPSI courses. Applications will be considered only if the application fee has been paid. At master’s level, the teaching language is German, English or one or more other languages. For some degree programs, you require a very good command of the English language.
