Knowledge of French is not an admission condition or a condition under which diplomas are awarded. The evaluation committees will take into consideration the difficulties encountered by many students around the world in the spring 2020 semester, due to the COVID-19 health crisis. At the Bachelor’s level, only certain degree programs allow you to start your studies in the spring semester. Please note that the questions for the Student Personal Data Form are activated in the online application portal from 15 November at the earliest for the spring semester and from 15 June for the autumn semester. Please note that you can only book modules online once you have paid your semester fees and received your login data for online services. Once you’ve activated your user account, you can log in and start filling out the online application form anytime. They must, however, demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge of the Italian language and reach Celi3 level by the end of their first year of study. If you fail to pay your semester fees by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from the University by the UZH.
Candidates are notified promptly of the Committee’s decision. Upon confirmation of acceptance, students will be sent more specific information regarding enrollment. Please upload a passport-style photograph or past school portrait of your child.

However, it cannot be guaranteed that application files that arrive after 5 January 2022 will be able to be processed for the spring semester. The application deadline for the spring semester 2022 elapsed on 30 November 2021. An official transcript of the student’s school records for the past two years. Parents should request an official transcript to be sent directly to TASIS from each school attended in the last two years.
Only applications submitted by the deadline will be processed. The Institute values diversity and encourages students with no prior knowledge or only a basic knowledge of French to apply. We are happy to grant these students a place, if they take it upon themselves to attend a free French course.

The TASIS EAL Writing Proficiency Test and the Cambridge English Proficiency Test or TOEFL/TOEFL Jr/IELTS are required if English is not the candidate’s native language. Please contact the Admissions Office regarding the administration of these tests. A copy of the student’s passport page, indicating name, date of birth, and other vital information. The student’s passport needs to be valid for at least six months after entering the School.

If the payment for the application fee did not go through, please try again. Your application will only be processed once your payment has gone through.
After validating your application form, we invite you to join our Facebook group, created specially for our applicants. Our team will use this group to provide support and answer your questions, in addition to e-mail, phone and campus visits. Moreover, this group allows you to exchange with other applicants during the application process. If you meet all the admission requirements, your semester registration confirmation will be made available to you online. Your enrolment confirmation will be given to you in person or sent by post.
