All applicants will be informed in writing on the outcome of their admission request. Final matricultation completes the admission procedure for admitted candidates. If you live or work in Switzerland, you can find this on your AHV card or on your CH health insurance card. If you have not received a social security number yet, you can still proceed with your application. Once your payment has been registered, you can download via the Uniportal your confirmation of matriculation and revalidate your Campus Card. If you would like to leave the University of Lucerne, please exmatriculate yourself via UniPortal.

  • If the payment for the application fee did not go through, please try again.
  • In this case you will have to repeat the application process if you wish to apply to UZH at a later date.
  • The student’s passport needs to be valid for at least six months after entering the School.

Filing Your Application

Our selection committees give priority consideration to academic achievement and motivation. Academic achievement is documented using transcripts and recommendations. Motivation factors should be clarified in the cover letter/statement of purpose. Applications for the spring semester 2022 can still be handed in until at the very latest 15 March 2022.

  • You will be asked to log in using your Switch edu-ID. On the input page, you will find detailed information on which documents you may still need to upload/replace or what details are missing.
  • To submit your trade mark application online, use the online application system IR-Online , which will take you through the process step by step, including giving you explanations on how to fill in the various sections.
  • Late applications will be considered only in the case of available places.
