At the Bachelor’s level, only certain degree programs allow you to start your studies in the spring semester. Please note that the questions for the Student Personal Data Form are activated in the online application portal from 15 November at the earliest for the spring semester and from 15 June for the autumn semester. Please note that you can only book modules online once you have paid your semester fees and received your login data for online services. Once you’ve activated your user account, you can log in and start filling out the online application form anytime. They must, however, demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge of the Italian language and reach Celi3 level by the end of their first year of study. If you fail to pay your semester fees by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from the University by the UZH.
- Once payment has been completed, your application will be processed by the administrative office responsible for your degree programme.

You will be guided through the application, admission and enrolment process. If you’ll continue your study at the University of Lucerne at Master’s level in the same subject, you won’t have to register for the Master Study once more. You will be enrolled further by paying the bill for the semester fees. The study level will be changed after the graduation ceremony of your Bachelor’s Degree. The Admissions Office is responsible for formal admission to bachelor, master and doctoral studies for people with Swiss or foreign educational qualifications.
Preparing Your Application
To register an international trade mark without making any mistakes and to respond appropriately to any objections can be difficult for someone with no experience in trade mark protection. This is the portal for professionals working in the field of intellectual property. Please specify whether you gained your university entry qualification at a school or higher education institution in Switzerland or abroad. Students with weak or no prior knowledge of French must take an intensive French course, lasting three weeks before the start of the first semester. They must register for this course at the time of confirming their enrolment.

Once your payment has been completed, you will receive an email confirming your application for the degree programme you have chosen.
Filing Your Application
Candidates are notified promptly of the Committee’s decision. Upon confirmation of acceptance, students will be sent more specific information regarding enrollment. Please upload a passport-style photograph or past school portrait of your child.
If you are interested in applying for our International Baccalaureate program, please complete theInternational Baccalaureate Applicationin addition to your regular application. Three teacher recommendations from the student’s present school, preferably from the principal, head teacher, or counselor, and teachers of English and Math. A transcript of the student’s school records for the past three years and any grade reports. Your complete application will be assessed by a committee of professors who will evaluate, in particular, your academic performance, letters of recommendation and motivation letter. The application for the joint master’s degree program Computational Biology and Bioinformatics must be done via ETH Zurich. The International Baccalaureate Supplementary Application must be completed by candidates applying to 11th grade who wish to pursue the IB Diploma. For administrative reasons, applications to SUPSI must be made by 15 April 2022, while applications to the Cantonal Authorities for foreigners, together with the required documents, must be received by the SUPSI Executive by 30 June 2022.
