All applicants will be informed in writing on the outcome of their admission request. Final matricultation completes the admission procedure for admitted candidates. If you live or work in Switzerland, you can find this on your AHV card or on your CH health insurance card. If you have not received a social security number yet, you can still proceed with your application. Once your payment has been registered, you can download via the Uniportal your confirmation of matriculation and revalidate your Campus Card. If you would like to leave the University of Lucerne, please exmatriculate yourself via UniPortal.
Please have your credit card details ready, if you intent to pay by credit card. The payment has to be effected before the completion of the application process. The online application has to be finished including the necessary documentation within the above mentioned dates. Once you have received login data for your UZH e-mail account, the University will send e-mail messages only to your UZH e-mail account. The application form is divided into several sections that you can work on independently of each other.
If you don’t have one, feel free to take one with your smartphone. Photos should be only of your child and against a neutral background . Activities involving the verification of admission requirements, the organisation of admission or competitive examinations, and admission “on dossier” are conducted by the Departments, under the supervision of the SUPSI Executive. Due to organisational reasons, the Department of Formation and Learning will be unable to accept applications arriving after the deadline specified above.
If required, further documents – as copies or originals – must also be submitted after admission has been granted. No application may be submitted after the application deadline. Please submit a new application if you wish to apply for a later semester. After that you can break off filling out the form any time, and continue later, provided you do so before the application deadline. Please note that the information you have entered will never be saved automatically; you need to click “Save” at the bottom of the page (or the “Continue” button where you select the course of study). You will immediately receive an e-mail from Student Services with a link to activate your account and your username.

Three teacher recommendations from the student’s present school, preferably from the principal, head teacher, or counselor, and teachers of English and Math. A transcript of the student’s school records for the past three years and any grade reports. At the Bachelor’s level, only certain degree programs allow you to start your studies in the spring semester. Please note that the questions for the Student Personal Data Form are activated in the online application portal from 15 November at the earliest for the spring semester and from 15 June for the autumn semester. Please note that you can only book modules online once you have paid your semester fees and received your login data for online services. Once you’ve activated your user account, you can log in and start filling out the online application form anytime. They must, however, demonstrate a sufficient level of knowledge of the Italian language and reach Celi3 level by the end of their first year of study. If you fail to pay your semester fees by the deadline, you will be withdrawn from the University by the UZH.
