Please note that you are eligible to apply during the last year of your current study programme, provided you obtain your final degree by the start of the MEIG Programme in September. Candidates who pass all the admission examinations will receive a letter of admission and a registration confirmation form by ordinary post and by email. This form must be signed and returned to the Academic Services Office of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana as instructed in the letter of admission. Our selection committees give priority consideration to academic achievement and motivation. Academic achievement is documented using transcripts and recommendations. Motivation factors should be clarified in the cover letter/statement of purpose. Applications for the spring semester 2022 can still be handed in until at the very latest 15 March 2022.

Applications to DACD, DEASS, DTI and ATD received after the specified deadline will be accepted provided places are still available. The application fee must be paid for each application to a degree course, and, in principle, amounts to CHF 100.-, except for applications to the affiliate schools, the regulations for which specify other amounts. The application fee is non-reimbursable and may not be detracted from the semester fees charged to students who have been admitted to SUPSI courses. Applications will be considered only if the application fee has been paid. At master’s level, the teaching language is German, English or one or more other languages. For some degree programs, you require a very good command of the English language.

After matriculation, you must request withdrawal from university via contact form at the Student Administration Office. If you have already paid the semester fees for the first semester and would like to be reimbursed , please return your UZH Card and the four proof-of-matriculation vouchers by 15 March or 15 October and provide us with your bank details. The Student Administration Office will then initiate the reimbursement of the fees.

Admission decisions will be notified by letter, in electronic format only. Admission decisions are based on the quality of the overall application file. This may take 24 hours, so be sure to leave enough time before the deadline.
